Candace Nicole Brewton, 39, of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at her home. She was born July 26, 1982, in San Angelo, Texas, to Davie Joe Poindexter and Donna Kathleen Cressey.

Candace was a CNA and a LPN for Kindred Home Health Care Services. She was a 2000 graduate of Charleston High School and member of Life Church in Charleston. Candace was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 27th at Life Church in Charleston, with Pastor Terry Scott officiating. Cremation will follow after the service. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Josh Brewton; her children, Sierra Montgomery, Jacob Brewton and Kason Brewton, all of the home; her mother, Donna Baker of Ozark; a sister, Collette Cressey of Ozark; a brother, Scott Cressey of Fort Smith; her mother and father-in-law, Lisa and Gary Stubblefield of Charleston and her father and mother-in-law, Michael & Sherry Brewton of Kibler; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Brewton, Heath Rainwater, Chase Rainwater, Daniel Little, Tony Jones, Ben Cavitt, Steve Ervin, and Chris Croff.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
