Calvin Wayne Ladd of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 10, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Richard Wayne Ladd and Margie Maxine (Williams) Ladd. He was 63 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wayne Ladd and his mother and step-father, Maxine and Greenville Maness.

Calvin was a 1978 graduate of Lavaca High School. He was a caster at Exide Technologies in Fort Smith, loved hunting and fishing, and was a Southern Baptist.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Pastor Steven Smithson officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery at Natural Dam, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Rhonda Faye (Neal) Ladd; two sons, Andrew Ladd and wife Sarah of Van Buren and Josh Ladd of Fort Smith; his sister, Connie Greene of Lavaca; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Ladd and Isabella Ladd; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Hays Hill, Chasen King, Lorne Greene, Josh Gillooley, Tiylor Hill, and Tim Hill.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Charleston.
