Brent Preston McBride, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born April 23, 1960, in Bellflower, California, to the late Cedric McBride and Beverly J. (Burgess) McBride. He was 61 years old.

Brent worked in maintenance for Compass Realty and Construction Group in Fort Smith and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a brother, Craig McBride and wife Coleen of Van Buren; a sister, Valerie Stone and husband Jack of Charleston, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
