Brent Ellison, who resided in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at his home. He was born March 14, 1939 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late Lloyd Ellison and Lauren Madge (Dunn) Ellison. He was 72 years old.

Brent was a retired route salesman for Pepsi Beverage Company in Fort Smith. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division in the United States Army, was an avid Razorback fan, and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1st at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Scott Martin officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Willine (Martin) Ellison; one daughter, Danette Gerred and husband Travis of Sallisaw; three grandchildren, Clay, Cadence, and Brinlee Gerred.

Pallbearers will be Buford Martin III, Brett Green, Josh Teague, David Davidson, Tom Smothers, Ian Roberts, Jim Roberts, and Michael Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be retired co-workers from Pepsi Beverage Company.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
