Brenda C. Purdom-Goines of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born August 24, 1952, in Hoyt, Oklahoma, to the late Ulis Calvin Tilford Purdom and Cora Lavena (Brumley) Purdom. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Goines; three step-sons, Larry, William and Kevin; and four sisters.

Brenda was a retired LPN.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gary Goines; a sister, Lois Eakle of Quinton, Oklahoma; (7) grandchildren and (18) great-grandchildren.
