Obituary

Brenda Marie Honea Masters of Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 11, 1945, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Roy Honea and Joyce (Bynum) Honea. She was 78 years old. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny "Booger Red" Bradley; a granddaughter, Latica Davis-Schulterman; one sister, Karen Petty; two brothers, James Everett "Jay Bird" and Ronnie Honea and wife Louis Sarten-Honea and a nephew, Little Wesley "Bub" Pettigrew.

Brenda was of Holiness Faith and she worked for Circle S in Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 3rd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Timothy Beers officiating the service. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband, J.D. Masters; four sons, Cecil Davis and wife Katherine of Caulksville, Wayne Davis and wife Frankie of Paris, Larry Bradley of Shirley, and Danny Daniel of Winslow; three sisters, Pat Pettigrew and husband Wesley of Paris, Sharon Edwards and husband Calvin of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Joyce Ann "Peach" Trout-Cunningham of Subiaco; one brother, Bill Lewis and wife Bonnie of Paris; (11) grandchildren, and (20) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Brian Davis, Mitchell Davis, Bill Lewis, Lonnie Pettigrew, Brandon Daniel and Christian Daniel.

The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
