Brenda L. Martin, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born July 27, 1952, in Fort Smith to the late James Childers and Norma Lee (Chaffin) Childers. She was almost 66 years old. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Childers.

Brenda was a beautician, and she was of the Baptist faith.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21st, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Buddy Corbell officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

Brenda is survived by her children, Amanda Martin, Wayne Martin, Jr. and wife LaVonda, and Justin Martin, Sr. and wife Suzanne, all of Cecil; a sister, Becky Chandler and husband Robert of Lavaca; a brother, Randy Childers of Pocola, Oklahoma; (11) grandchildren and (1) great-grandchild.
