Brenda Kaye Gilliam of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 11, 1962, in Fort Smith to the late John Childress and Pauline (Gilbert) Childress. She was 61 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda was a unit secretary for Sparks. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A family held memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024 at First Baptist Church, 19 North Adair St, Greenwood, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Eitzen and husband Daniel of Muldrow, Oklahoma; a son, Jason Gilliam of Greenwood; and two sisters, Darlene Madle of Harrison and Melba Flaspohler and husband Bill of Fort Smith.

The family will have a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 4314 Webb Way, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72916.
