Bonnie Bernice Sullivan resided at Branch, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, October 10, 2008, at the Paris Health & Rehab Nursing Facilities. She was born May 26, 1920 in McAlister, Oklahoma to the late Avery L. Gibson and Lenora Elizabeth Shelton Gibson. She was 88 years old. Bernice was a floor supervisor
at Gallo Winery in Modesto, California and was of the United Pentecostal faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sullivan and one daughter, Esther Mae Achterberg.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by two sisters, Bea Wheeler of Cecil, Arkansas and Edna Daniel of Corcoran, California; three grandchildren, Rev. Allen Achterberg of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Donna Achterberg of Branch, Arkansas and Roy Achterberg of Branch, Arkansas. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
