Obituary

Bobby Joe Goldsworthy of Paris, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Paris. He was born on March 18, 1928, in Paris to the late James W. Goldsworthy, Sr. and Alice (Kelley) Goldsworthy. He was 95 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Buford, Ralph and J.W.; five sisters, Loretta Garrett, Barbara Mars, Betty Ellis, Helen Spaethe, and Peggy Joyce Weldin; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Goldsworthy.

Bobby was owner and operator of Central Lighting and was located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Cleveland, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Kaye Goldsworthy of Humble, Texas; two sons, James Alan Goldsworthy and wife Teresa of Tulsa and Barry Goldsworthy of Subiaco; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
