Bob Morris

Bobby Eugene Morris of Roland, Oklahoma, formerly of Paris, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 13, 1940, in the old Smith Hospital in Paris to the late Rufus Alton Morris and Virginia (Askins) Morris. He was 85 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Jacob Woods.

Bob was 1958 graduate and class president of Paris High School. For many years, Bob worked in sales and retired from Tommie Vaughn Car Sales in Houston, Texas. Bob loved many things in life, especially golf, watching football, playing poker, and spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer and spent countless hours playing golf at Little Creek Country Club in Ratcliff, where he served as past president. He was a former deacon and faithful member of Paris First Christian Church. Most of all, he loved Jesus. He was known for always having a story to tell, a joke to share, and a kind and thoughtful heart. His love, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Bob leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and memories that will live on in his family and in the hearts of those who knew him.

A family-held memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th at First Christian Church in Paris, with Rev. H.C. Varnadore officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Baxley Cemetery in Paris at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Bob's life, share memories, and honor the man he was to so many.
