Obituary

Bobby Carol Douglas, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born April 2, 1948 in Charleston to the late Carroll Franklin Douglas and Freda (Inklebarger) Douglas. He was 63 years old.

Bobby was owner & operator of Douglas Siding Company in Lavaca, worked previously in the produce department at numerous grocery stores in the area, attended the Donnie Green's Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Lavaca and member of the Lavaca First Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 23rd at the First Baptist Church in Lavaca, wtih Pastor Tony Buchanan officiating. Burial will be at Oak Valley Cemetery, south of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vicki (Phillips) Douglas of the home; two daughters, Carin Phelps and husband Ronny of Witcherville and Michele Rowe and husband Travis of Van Buren; two sons, Billy Douglas and wife Shanna of Greenwood and Colin Douglas of Greenwood; one sister, Joan Maness and husband Willie of Lavaca; two brothers, Kenny Douglas and wife Shirley of Lavaca and Hershel Douglas of Washburn; seven greandchildren, Sydney, Jacob, Mason, Nicholas, Garrett, Gracie, and Madie.

Pallbearers will be Bud Christenberry, Mike Jackson, Travis Bryant, Boyd Gibson, Dane Douglas, and George Green.

Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
