Obituary

Bobbie Jean Azlin, who resided near Magazine, Arkansas, died Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Paris Health & Rehab Center in Paris, Arkansas. She was born on December 20, 1929, in the Roseville Community in Logan County, Arkansas, to the late James Vernon Harper and Opal (Parker) Harper. She was 93 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Azlin; two daughters, Carolyn Beeton and Vickie Vanloon; two brothers, J.V. Harper and Jack Harper; two grandsons, Brian Lee Gattis (Infant) and Shannon Lee Gattis; and a great-grandson, Brandon Lee Gattis.

For many years, Bobbie worked for Pelco, Inc. in Fresno, California. She enjoyed the activities at the Senior Citizen's Center in Paris and attended Harmony Assembly of God Church near Paris.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5th at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be Rev. Ricky White.

She is survived by a son, Russell Huber and wife Pamela of Magazine; two brothers, Donald Harper and wife Carrie of Tularie, California, and Bill Harper and wife Robbie of Pinole, California; (6) grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren, and (7) great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Dylan Hill, Phillip Gattis, Todd Gattis, Marshall Gattis, Alyssa Gattis, and Roger Thompson.

The family viewing and visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday morning and will leave the funeral home in Paris at 9:45 a.m. to go to Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston for the service.
