Blanch Marie Long, who resided near Heavener, Oklahoma, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Heart of Hospice Inpatient Unit in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 6, 1938, in Kellyville, Oklahoma, to the late Wesley Shannon Hall and Ruth Anna Files Hall. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Vernon Dell Long.

Blanch was a retired payroll clerk for General Telephone in Portland, Oregon, and member of United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Marie McGaha of Heavener and Rhonda Platt and husband John of Cordova, Alaska; a son, Dell Long of Murphreesboro, Tennessee; two sisters, Cora Lee Rhodes of Palm Dale, California, and Bobbie Reeves of Clinton, Missouri; (11) grandchildren; (35) great-grandchildren; and (6) great-great-grandchildren.
