Billy Joe Rogers of Charleston, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, near Charleston. He was born on August 19, 1963, in Ozark, Arkansas, to the late Bobby Gene Rogers and Patricia Ann (Haney) Rogers. He was 62 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Rogers; a brother, Mike Rogers; and a step-son, Layton Walker.
For several years, Billy was a small engine repairman. He loved to go fishing, take his grandchildren out to eat pizza and ice cream, and was a member of Branch First Baptist Church. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 31st at First Baptist Church in Branch, with Pastor Tim Hobbs officiating.
He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Hice and husband Johnny, Jr. of Scranton; his son, Bobby Rogers of Charleston; his mother, Ann Rogers of Charleston; four grandchildren, Kailey Koch and husband Josh, Ethan Inklebarger, Chase Inklebarger, and Kaizon Rogers; and a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Lou Inklebarger.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
