Billy Wayne Jones, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was born May 12, 1939, in McCrory, Arkansas to the late Frank Clarence Jones and Cecil (Stokes) Jones. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Dean (Kerr) Kindrix Jones; a daughter, Tammy Jones; one sister and three brothers.
Billy worked for Kay Chair Furniture Company in Van Buren and he was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 16th, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, located south of Ratcliff, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Sylvia Bell.
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Harris of Cedarville, Susan Jones of Fort Smith, and Melinda Dutton of Van Buren; three sons, Ronnie Kindrix and wife Anna of Charleston, Rickey Jones of Kibler and Jeffrey Jones of Fort Smith; his companion, Nancy Riley; three sisters, Rose Yearington of Greenwood, Nellie Lane of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dorothy Drymon of St. Jose, California; one brother, Virgil Jones and wife Nedra of Ione; (24) grandchildren and too many to count great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shanon Winters, Jose Kramer, Jacob Chu, Ricardo Anaya, Juan Barroso and Ricky Gaines.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
