Billy Don Hewitt, who resided in Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born September 7, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Jimmy Don Hewitt and Martha L. Howard Hewitt. He was 63 years old.
Bill was a retired accountant and an IT Consultant. He served in the U. S. Air Force. He was an avid golfer and loved going to the driving range. Bill enjoyed working on computers, camping, fishing, and was a member of New Praise Church in Siloam Springs.
Memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12th at Browns Chapel Cemetery, located north of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Michael Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Teague) Hewitt; a daughter, Brandi Carothers and husband David of Hasket, Texas; four step-children, Shana Brown of Alma, Leigh Leonard of Fort Smith, Josh Denton of Bentonville, and Jake Denton of Gentry; nine grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11th at the funeral home.
