Billy Ambros "Bo" Newsom, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehab. Center in Fort Smith. He was born on June 14, 1940, in Magazine, Arkansas, to the late Jesie Marvin Newsom and Bertha Faye (Cravens) Newsom. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patsy Newsom; and a brother, Jack Newsom.

For several years, Bo worked at Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith and he was a Christian.

The family will have a memorial graveside service on Monday, July 22nd at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine.

He is survived by two daughters, DeAnne Lee and husband Joseph Flatbush of Fort Smith and Beth Harrison and husband Patrick of Van Buren; a sister, Charlotte Johnson and husband R.H. of Magazine; two brothers, Joe Newsom of Rowlett, Texas, and Bob Newsom and wife Judy of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
