Billie Lou Bowerman, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home. She was born January 21, 1941 in Paris, Arkansas. She was 72 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Mildred (Robinson) Horne; one daughter, Malinda Bowerman; and one son, Eugene Bowerman.
Billie was a seamstress at Paris Manufacturing Plant in Paris, a homemaker, and of the pentecostal faith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Randy Cothran officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bennett Bowerman; one daughter, Mona Bassler and husband Stan (Skip) of Lafayette, Tennessee; one son, Charles Bowerman and wife Brenda of Paris; one sister, Connie Crowell of Paris; (12) grandchildren and (21) great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Skip Bassler, Alex Rodriquez, David Rieder Sr., Eugene Peden, Lewis Peden, and Stan Bassler, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandson's, and Jim Richardson, Bill Young, and Ricky Bridges.
Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
