Billie Jean Bagwell resided in Greenwood, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, January 25, 2009, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born November 1, 1937 in Charleston to the late James Ross and Sarah Myrtle McDonald Ross. She was 71 years old.

She was a homemaker and member of the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene.

She is preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas Medlin.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Michael Roach officiating, burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Bagwell, of the home; two daughters, Cynthia Campbell & husband Craig, of Annandale, Virginia and Kristi Medlin & husband Brad, of Gardner, Kansas; two sons, Steven Bagwell & wife Tammie, of Davidson, North Carolina and Brett Bagwell & wife Kalene, of Blue Springs, Missouri; two sisters, LaRue Wald of Fort Smith and Betty Sullivan of Fort Smith; two brothers, George Ross of Greenwood, Benny Ross of Branch and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Fant, Taylor Medlin, Tyler Campbell, Jared Campbell, Sam Wald and Randy Bagwell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Beau & Liam Bagwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene @ P.O. Box 1104 Greenwood, AR. 72936

Family will visit with friends beginning at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the funeral service.
