Obituary

Billy Frank Riddles, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at Paris Health and Rehab. He was born on October 14, 1941, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late J. Frank Riddles and Audra (Kuykendall) Riddles. He was 81 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Buster Gray; his sisters, Betty and Peggy Riddles; two step-sisters, Louise Mourot and Bobbie Drake; and three step-brothers, Bill, J.W. and Troy Gray.

Bill served in the United States Army and was an employee of Hiram Walker of Fort Smith. He was a 1959 graduate of Lavaca High School and a member of Coles Chapel United Methodist Church near Branch.

A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 9th at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, with the Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Anita (Robinson) Riddles; an uncle, Homer Morris of Lavaca; a step-brother, Johnny Gray of Fort Smith; and eleven nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asked donations be made to Charleston Dog Shelter, P.O. Box 118 Charleston, AR 72933.
