William Dee Lane of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 14, 1938, in Wolf, Oklahoma, to the late Paul Dee Lane and Vivian Opal (Manley) Lane. He was 87 years old.

Bill was a retried interior designer, member of Knights of Columbus, and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Rosary service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 24th, followed by Memorial Mass service at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, officiated by Father Jeff Polasek. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by his twin daughters, Margaret Nell of Switzerland and Christine Mitomi of Germany; his sister, Judith Mosley and husband Glen of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Alexander, Violetta, Lilia and Adrian; his niece, Cindy Bowman and husband Derek of Little Rock, Arkansas, and his nephew, Paul Glen Mosley and wife Julie of Fort Smith.
