John William "Bill" Corley, who resided in Ratcliff, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home. He was born September 22, 1927, in Scranton, Arkansas to the late Jack Corley and Muriel (Ramsey) Corley. He was 89 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jo (Hill) Corley; and a brother, Bobby Joe Corley.
Bill retired from Miller Drilling Company. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Ratcliff City Council, County Line Mule Rider's Association, Caulksville Cemetery Board, and he was a member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 30th, at Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Bill Van Meter officiating. Burial will be at Caulksville Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his son, John Earl Corley of Ratcliff, and a close family friend, Linda Trusty of Paris.
Pallbearers will be James Vanlandingham, Kedric Paschal, Cole Smith, Mike Patterson, Benny Rausch, and Jimmy Stubblefield.
Honorary pallbearers will be church members of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00 P.m. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday night at the funeral home in Paris.
