Betty June Rich, who resided in Ozark, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Fort Smith. She was born on April 4, 1936, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to the late Charles Idus Leverette and Agnes Elizabeth (Sawitsky) Leverette. She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Rich.

Betty was an elementary secretary at Ozark Public Schools.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, September 26th at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be Tommy Leverette.

She is survived by a daughter, Lana McLaughlin and husband John of Ozark; a granddaughter, Paityn Elizabeth McLaughlin of Odessa, Texas; two grandsons, Parker Remington McLaughlin of Omaha, Nebraska, and Koby Rich of Ozark; and a sister, Phyllis Binyon of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be family members.
