Obituary
Betty Marie Humphrey resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009, in Charleston. She was born May 30, 1939 to the late Roy Calvin Palmer and Bessie Minnie (Pippen) Palmer. She was 70 years old.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Humphrey.
Betty worked as a secretary for the Miller Drilling Company in Fort Smith and was a member of the Oak Cliff Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
The body will be cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 9th, at the Oak Cliff Baptist Church in Fort Smith, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by two step-daughters, Connie Akers of Broken Arrow, OK and Rosie Galbraith of Baton Rouge, LA; two step-sons, Phillip Humphrey of Fort Smith and Danny Humphrey of Greenwood. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
