Betty Sue Gold, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, in Fort Smith. She was born on March 18, 1932, in Poteau to the late William Archie Marler and Mary Etta Martin Marler. She was 90 years old.

She was a homemaker, volunteer and artist.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 15th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Steven Smithson officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Morris; two daughters, Karen Ward and husband Ray, and Teresa Rambo and husband Terry all of Lavaca; a sister, Nancy Hale of Tennessee; two brothers, William Marler and wife Sue, and Charles Marler and wife, Janet all of Poteau; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
