Obituary

Betty Ruth Broggi, who resided near Paris, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at her home. She was born March 11, 1941, in North Little Rock, to the late Abb Fort Davis and Ruth Bell (White) Davis. She would have been 79 years old in just a few days. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Davis; and a grandson, Chance Hertlein.

Betty was a cannery worker for Tri-Valley Growers in Los Banos, California.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Billy Byrd officiating. Burial will be at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Orville Broggi; three daughters, Sylvia Childers and fiance' John Elkins, Ruth Ann Inklebarger and husband Rex, and Raven Hertlein and husband Randy; four sons, Robert French, David French and wife Robin, Billy French and wife Lisa, and Kenneth French; a sister, Connie Simmons; a brother, Ben Davis and wife Diane; (12) grandchildren and (21) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Randy Hertlein, Chris Shelton, Abb Childers, Ronnie Davis, Benny Davis, and Bobbie Lee French.

Honorary pallbearers are Steve Childers and Jacob Shelton.

The family will visit with friends on Friday an hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
