Betty Adams, who resided in Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born March 8, 1930 in Logan County to the late Melvin H. Robinson and Mattie (Mullings) Robinson. She was 82 years old.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Carey Adams.
Betty was a faithful minister's wife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pulaski County Home Extension Club, and member of Midway Assembly of God.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd, at Midway Assembly of God, with Rev. Paul Grigsby and Rev. Rick Nye officiating. Burial will be at May Cemetery, located east of Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Robert E. Adams; one daughter, Brenda Chesney and husband James of Marion, Arkansas; one son, David E. Adams and wife Carol of Conway; one sister, Iva Horne of Subiaco; four grandsons, Justin Adams, Jason Adams, Jonathan Kelly, and Ryan Adams; twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Adams, Jason Adams, Jonathan Kelly, Gary Horne, Josh Parsons, and Nathan Parsons.
Family will visit with friends 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Midway Assembly of God.
Public viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2nd, at the funeral home in Paris.
