Betty Gailene Adams of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on September 5, 1972, in Ozark, Arkansas, to the late James Williams and Jonnie L. (Douglas) Williams. She was 50 years old. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Williams.

A family-held memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9th at Tate Cemetery, located east of Lavaca, Arkansas.

She is survived by her son, J.D. Adams of Lavaca; four sisters, Joyce White and husband Albert of Lavaca, Shirley Reed of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Mary Rodgers of Lavaca, and Charlene Williams of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; a brother, James Williams and wife Rebecca of Lavaca.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
