Bena Carolyn Leakey of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Friday, August 23, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 25, 1948, in Mulberry, Arkansas, to the late Thomas L. Leakey and Cora C. (Gilbreath) Leakey. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Thomas Eldridge.

Bena worked in the telecommunications department at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith. She loved to play the RUMMIKUB game with her family friends. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles, quilting, and crocheting.
