Rebecca Jean Rainwater Martin, who resided in Barling, died Friday, July 31, 2020, at her home. She was born February 9, 1958, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late Luther Edward Rainwater and Alma Rejean (Stubblefield) Rainwater. She was 62 years old. She was preceded in death also by two brothers and two sisters, Bill Rainwater, Bob Rainwater, Betty Knight and Mary Jane Little.

Becky was a former certified nursing assistant. She was a 1976 graduate of Charleston High School and was of the Free Will Baptist faith.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4th, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, located north of Vesta, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the graveside service will be Bro. Jimmy Cook and Bro. Tim Hobbs.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Carl Martin; her daughter, Mindy Mondragon and husband Juan of Barling; a sister, Martha Tracy and husband Larry of Lavaca; two grandchildren, Carlos Mondragon and girlfriend Jordan and Faith Mondragon.

Pallbearers are Billy Noel, Kenny Dooly, Jimmy Sargent, Carlos Mondragon, and Josh Watson.

Public viewing will be Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
