Obituary

Bea Wheeler resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Charleston. She was born November 6, 1922 in McAlister, Oklahoma to the late Avery L. Gibson and Lenora Elizabeth (Shelton) Gibson.
She was 88 years old.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wheeler; one son, Gaylord Wilburn; three sisters, Mary Mosley, Bernice Sullivan, and Iva Hodges; two brothers, C.R. Gibson and Jim Gibson.

She along with her husband Melvin was owner & operator of Melbea's Restaurant in Ceres, California and was of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Gaylene Flanagan and husband Joe of Charleston; one sister, Edna Daniel of Corcoran, California; three grandchildren, Debra Dendy of Hot Springs, and Blake and Callans Flanagan of Charleston.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Robert Presson and Rev. Allen Achterberg officiating. Interment will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Jason West, Streeter West, Adam Achterberg, Josh Achterberg, Chad Riley, and Blake Flanagan.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
