Barbara Jean Johnson, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, at her home. She was born March 18, 1943, in Miami, Florida to the late Joseph Clifton Wall and Mary Cleo (Martin) Wall. She was 74 years old.
Barbara was a homemaker, and she was a military wife. Barbara was a member of New Life Church in Fort Smith.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 P.M. Monday, April 24th, at New Life Church @ 9000 Dallas St. in Fort Smith, with Pastor Marcus Brown officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bob Johnson; two sons, Bob Johnson, Jr. and wife Brandi of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and James Johnson and wife Emily of Charleston; two sisters, Mary Jo Jordan of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Sandy Readinger of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson, Braden Kame, David Johnson and wife Sarah, Brieana Kame and Britney Kame.
Pallbearers will be Larry Schiffner, John Parker, Alfred Yutterman, Greg Moser, Marcus Cox, and Bobby Mackey.
The family will visit with friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at New Life Church in Fort Smith.
