Audra Fae VanCleave Harris, who resided in Ratcliff, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at her home. She was born September 8, 1928 in the Ursula Community near Charleston to the late Roy Jeff Williams and Virgie Lee (White) Williams. She was 87 years old. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, W.N. (Hank) VanCleave and John Coleman Harris; one daughter, Virginia Brashears; one sister, Grace Corley; two brothers, Wallace Williams and Robert Williams; one granddaughter, Susan VanCleave; and one great-granddaughter, Jennifer Dawn Mantooth.
Audra Fae was a homemaker. She worked several years at the Bloomer Chicken Plant, and she was a charter member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19th, at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church near Bloomer, with the Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Case and husband Ronnie of Charleston and Wilma Dow of Ratcliff; one son, Roger VanCleave of Charleston; three sisters, Beatrice Passmore and husband Bud of Lavaca, Mary Sexton and husband Carl of Barling, and Nellie Reitman of Charleston; two brothers, Roy Williams of Charleston and Billy Williams and wife Karen of Lavaca; (8) grandchildren, (22) great-grandchildren, and (9) great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ralph "Boom" Dow, Jackie Hice, Denny Brashears, Cody VanCleave, Tim Herrin, and Jody Crimm.
Honorary pallbearers will be men of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
