Audine Davis, who resided in Charleston, died Friday, June 5, 2020, in Fort Smith. She was born May 12, 1932, on Barber Ridge Road in the Barber Community in Logan County, Arkansas, to the late W. C. Lowe and Harriet (Norris) Lowe. She was 88 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Roy Davis; two grandsons, Joey Wright and Timothy Ray Terry; seven brothers and six sisters.
Audine was a homemaker, lifetime member of the VFW, and of the Baptist faith.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11th, at Pine Log Cemetery, located in the Barber Community in Logan County, with Kris Bolin officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her four daughters, Peggy Nelms and husband Jim of Ozark, JoAnn Gunzenhauser of Charleston, Beverly Appleton of Charleston and Rhonda Smothers and husband Stinger of Charleston; a son, Roy Davis and wife Pam of Lavaca; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Nelms, Bradley Nelms, Mike Franklin, Cody Woodrum, Ronnie Hutchins and Shane Pearcy.
Public viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
