Arvil McKinney of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Heart of Hospice Unit in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on January 12, 1937, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late Arthur "Ott" McKinney and Esther (Owens) McKinney. He was 87 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Eugene; and two daughters, Gayla and Kimberly.

Arvil was a retired die caster at Baldor, Inc. in Fort Smith for over 42 years, and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his children, Latricia of Washington State, Linda of Greenwood, and Jeremy of Tulsa; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
