Arthur Rice Corse, who resided near Alma, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 13, 1938, in Pampa, Texas, to the late Arthur St. Clair Corse and Lillian (Rice) Corse. He was 85 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Dana Westfall.

Arthur served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired veterinarian, taught bible study classes, and member of the Church of Christ.

Inurnment will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Norma (Spivey) Corse; his children, Angie Norman and husband Steve of Colorado, Kristy Alexander and husband Daniel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Greg Corse and wife Melissa of San Antonio, Texas; his stepchildren, Michael Handy and wife Rachel of Henderson, Nevada, Kimberly Specht and husband Steve of Asheville, North Carolina, Matthew Handy and wife Monica of Frisco, Texas, Brad Handy and wife Teki of Crosby, Texas, DeAnna Handy of Baytown, Texas, Jonathan Handy of Ozark, Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
