Katey Arbell Collins Phillips, who resided near Branch, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019, in Booneville. She was born February 11, 1927, near Morrilton, to the late Willie and Dellar Tyler. She was 91 years old. She was preceded in death by husband, Calvin Davis Collins, and three sons, Oscar, Billy, and Ervin Collins.
Arbell was a homemaker, a caretaker, and a member of First Baptist Church in Branch.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 1st, at First Baptist Church in Branch, with the Rev. Tim Hobbs officiating. Burial will be at Middleton Cemetery near Morrilton, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by three daughters, Alice Faye Simmons of Morrilton, Allidean Kee of Beebe, Arkansas and Maxine Curtis of Russellville; six sons, Calvin Collins of Dothan, Alabama, Alvin Collins of Morrilton, Carl Collins of Hot Springs, Charles Collins of Eads, Colorado, David Collins of Branch and Ernie Collins of Paris; a sister, Elsie Downs of Booneville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ernie Collins, Bob Hall, Michael Popejoy, Tim Hobbs, Garland Mays and Norman Martin.
The family will visit with friends starting at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday morning at First Baptist Church in Branch.
