Anna Rose Brown of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, in Heart of Hospice Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on May 7, 1953, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Herman Frank Frederick and Angeline Marie (Willmann) Frederick. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother and sister, Mark and Angela; a step-daughter, Jennifer Brown; and a son-in-law, D.J. Bowman.

For 20 years, Anna was a production worker at Magnetics in Booneville. After the closing of Magnetics, Anna attended Arkansas Tech University Ozark Campus and graduated at the top of her class and soon going to work for Shared Service Center in Fort Smith, where she later retired. Anna was a Christian, enjoyed singing in the church choir, and was a faithful member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, her church family, and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Charles Brown; three daughters, Julie Robinson and husband Greg of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Becky Stovall and husband Chris of Charleston, and Jennifer Bowman of Charleston; a step-daughter, Sarah Brown of Ione; three brothers, Henry Frederick and wife Toni of Paris, Bill Frederick and wife Karen of Rowlett, Texas, and Brian Frederick and wife Tammy of Magazine; (8) grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren; and (5) step-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 18th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. Cremation will follow after the funeral service. All services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
