Angeline Marie Huck, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born January 20, 1911 in Charleston to the late Louis Classen and Kate (Adams) Classen. She was 102 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joseph Huck; three sisters, Fran Smith, Edna Baumgartner, and Marie Classen, and four brothers, Herman, Ambrose, Nick, and Justin Classen.
Angeline was a homemaker, member of the Mother's Society, and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Ratcliff. Angeline was also an avid gardener, a Pro-Life Advocate, quilter, was an Avon representative for several years, made over a hundred Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, and loved decorating the altar at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston with flowers from her flower garden.
Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Ratcliff, with Father Eugene Luke, O.S.B. and Deacon Robert Cowie officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery, north of Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by one daughter, Bette Kay Cowie and husband Deacon Robert of Paris; two sons, John Huck and wife Gloria of Branch and Joe Huck of Austin, Texas; one sister, Loretta Weber of Milwaukie, Oregon; two brothers, Al Classen of Vancouver, Washington and Tony Classen of Charleston; (11) grandchildren, (21) great-grandchildren and (6) great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Cowie, George Cowie, John Huck, Jr., Louis Cowie, Gene Huck, Stephen Huck, James Huck, and Charlie Cowie.
