Amanda Jean Delashmit, who resided in Lavaca, died Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Mercy Hospital, Fort Smith. She was born in Caraway, Arkansas, on June 20, 1936, to the late Edward E. and Beatrice (Alexander) Pearson. She was 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Edward E. Pearson, Jr., Bill Pearson and Charles Pearson.

Amanda worked as a college secretary.

She is survived by her niece, Terri Crabtree of Lavaca, and nephew Breck Pearson also of Lavaca.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
