Alvin Lee Plowman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Mercy in Fort Smith. He was born on December 3, 1945, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to the late Elmer Lloyd Plowman and Gladys Virginia (Riley) Plowman. He was 79 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alton Dale Plowman.

Alvin retired from First National Bank in Marlow, where he served as the Vice President. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Andrew Plowman of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Ethan Plowman and Dane Plowman.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
