Obituary

Allen Ray Niblett of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 1, 1964, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Leonard Brown Niblett and Janice Sue (Hopper) Niblett Slocum. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Linda Golden and Wanda Harvey.

Allen faithfully served as an employee of Arkansas Oklahoma Gas for 31 years and was a devoted member of First Southern Baptist Church in Central City. He loved reading his Bible, enjoying Coney Islander Chili Dogs, helping others whenever he could, and spending time with his loyal Rottweiler, Susie.

Allen was a quiet man with a tender heart. He was gentle, kind, and deeply committed to the people he loved. His steady presence and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service honoring Allen's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21st at First Southern Baptist Church in Central City, with Pastor Russ Tyler officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kamala (Pierce) Niblett; a daughter, Nicole Niblett of Lavaca; a sister, Thresa Ramsey of Fort Smith; and a brother, Leonard Niblett of Lavaca.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
