R. Allan Sandell of Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Paris, Arkansas. He was born on December 26, 1940, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to the late Carl Sandell and Edna (Hilgorf) Sandell. He was 81 years old.

Allan served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant commander. He was owner and operator of Fitch Sandell Industrial Waste Company and was a member of Coles Chapel Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie (Wilson) Sandell of the home; a son, Scott Allan Sandell and wife Chrysten of San Diego, California; a daughter, Allison Fuchs of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris, Arkansas. 479-963-2004.
