Obituary

Alfred Douglas Robbins resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 at his home. He was born June 11, 1936 in Paris to the late Charlie B. Robbins and Mary Agnes (Morgan) Robbins. He was 73 years old.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Roger Robbins.

Alfred was a retired truck driver for Medlock Forest Products in Charleston and was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3rd, at the McVay Cemetery in Carbon City, with the Rev. Vondal Davenport officiating, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Bonnie Balasco of Paris; four sons, Bobby McCormick of Altus, Stephen Robbins of Paris, Tony Robbins of Fort Smith, and Ricky Robbins of Paris; four brothers, Ralph, Bud, and Bob, all of Fort Smith, and Leon of Greenwood; (12) grandchildren and (21) great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Quijada, Stephen Robbins, Thomas Hobbs, Johnny McCormick, Bobby Lee Scott, Layton Walker, Harry Schnider Jr., and Galen Cline.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
