Alymer Dansby, who resided in Fayetteville, Arkansas, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Fianna Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on February 14, 1937, in Hammond, Louisiana, to the late Jimmy Dansby and Jessie (Willis) Dansby. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife, May F. (Lee) Dansby, two brothers, and three sisters.

Al served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by two daughters, Janet Dansby of Fayetteville and Cynthia Dunbar of Los Angeles, California; one son, Richard Dansby of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Dolly Gordon of Fresno, California; a brother, Clois Dansby of Fresno, California; (10) grandchildren, (22) great-grandchildren, and (1) great-great-grandchild.
