Obituary

Nick Adam Carter, who resided in Monett, Missouri, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on March 17, 1975, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Nick Carter and Norma Jean (Keech) Carter. He was 46 years old.

Adam worked in construction and was self-employed. He loved the outdoors, which included camping, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers.

A family held memorial service will be held at Cottonwood Cemetery near Muldrow, Oklahoma, at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Aleah Carter and Pryor Jacob Carter, both of Fort Smith; three brothers, Vernon Cloud of Fort Smith, Joe Christian and wife Barbara of Verona, Missouri, and James Taylor of Fort Smith; two sisters, Glenda Verner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tina Woods and husband Rocky of Roland, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Nick Massengale and Julianna Valencia.
