Wayne Stinnett, who resided in Ratcliff, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born January 16, 1947, in Paris, Arkansas, to the late Lafey Stinnett and Tessie (Rollans) Stinnett. He was 71 years old.

Wayne worked at the charcoal plant in Paris and hauled coal for many years. He also worked several years for Logan County Road Department.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Wayne Thacker officiating. Burial will be at Caulksville Cemetery, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Atha "Cookie"(Helton) Stinnett; four daughters, Julia Mings and husband Nick of Paris, Beverly Stinnett of Paris, Angela Rowan and husband Quinton of Greenwood, and Dana Reed and husband Justin of Glendive, Montana; one son, Michael Stinnett and wife Merita of Carbon City; two sisters, Mary Miller of Paris and Faye Hicks of Greenwood; one brother, Billy Don Stinnett of Paris; an adopted daughter, Pam Ford and husband Mitchell of Paris; (17) grandchildren and (16) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Larry, Rick, Kenneth, Eddie, and Freddie Stinnett and Jimmy Luttrell.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Miller, Darren Miller, and Derek Stinnett.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
