Aaron Joe Payton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at his home. He was born on June 2, 1971 to the late Marvin Joe Payton and Nancy Jo (Whitman) Payton. He was 52 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Aaron was kind hearted and a dependable guy. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his place of employment. Aaron loved his momma and enjoyed talking about his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed talking and hanging out with friends. He loved telling stories and would talk to just about anyone he met. He loved star wars, anime, and cars.

He is survived by a daughter, Samantha Jo Lovell and husband of Stigler, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
