Kim (Weatherl) Newhart

Kimberly Christine Newhart, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born December 25, 1971 in Ozark, Arkansas to Danny Lee Weatherl and Linda Gay (Alderson) Weatherl. She was 41 years old.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Homer and Vivian Alderson, and her paternal grandfather, Harold Weatherl.

Kim was a counselor at East Hills Middle School in Greenwood. She was a 1990 graduate of County Line High School, and attended First Baptist Church in Charleston.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21st, at Charleston High School Gymnasium. Interment will be at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, located northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Officiating the service will be Bro. Shayne Baker and Bro. Tony Buchanan.

She is survived by her husband, Jason of the home; her four children, Hamilton, Hayden, Harrison, and Hattie Beth, all of the home; her father and mother, Danny and Linda Weatherl of Clarksville; one sister, Stephanie Rieder and husband David of Vilonia; one brother, James Weatherl and wife Ashley of Paris, and paternal grandmother, Ruby Weatherl of Ozark.

Pallbearers will be Bo Hunter, Ed Ralston, Chris Whitney, Kendall Shelby, Kevin Lynch, Shane Storey, Bill Gossage, and Jimmy Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Greenwood East Hills Middle School.

Family will visit with friends 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Brotherton Funeral Home in Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kim Newhart Scholarship Fund @ P.O. Box 192 Charleston, AR 72933.
